The Photo-Graphic Novel

This is a work in progress that mixes photography, text, graphics and even stills from a little movie I shot years ago. I'm not sure what I'm doing with this project just yet. I've only been working on it for three years.

I'll start by posting a few random pages. Click to expand the image and click on the link underneath to read the whole page(s). Follow the yellow brick road, which is the "narrative," view the purple squares as comments / asides, and prepare to be enthralled by meta musings about failed projects, the creative process, procrastination, and the making of HIGH CRIMES!

The Road Novel

Hop on a plane, train, boat or bus with Celia Maxwell, a young photographer disenchanted with her life in Chicago, as she embarks on a journey through several countries in Latin America on a quest for adventure, the meaning of life, and a novelist named Christopher Maxwell.

Originally published by Electron Press in 2010.

New edition coming soon!
